Imagine my surprise when things that made such an impression on you are things that I had forgotten...until something happens, like reading this. It's great to have those deeply buried memories of mine raised to the surface again but it's even more enjoyable to see that some of the things we do as parents manage to weave themselves into the fabric of lasting memories.
