Okay, time for another installment of HDH. This week I have been thinking a lot about heroes and what we find appealing in them. For the most part we know it goes deeper than looks. So many characters in movies are worthy of their hero status but today’s HDH takes the cake on many levels. Whether he is a downright hot Wolverine, a period character swept into present times, or…well hell I just like him and his acting. So when you are done drooling, tell me some of your fav heroes.
Elizabeth Lowell has great heroes in her Only series, starting with Caleb Black [yummy], to the Moran brothers, and finally Wolf Lonetree. They are all sooo drool worthy.
Brenda Joyce has some good ones too in her historicals. Funny, I’m finding the ones that come to mind first are mostly historical characters. Very interesting.
OK, I’m not done drooling but I will pause for a moment to talk about some of my favorite heroes. Pick any hero in the Immortals After Dark series by Kresely Cole. They all have much more than looks going for them and the love they have for their heroines melts my heart. She just has an amazing way of writing her heroes that has me rereading the series again and again. JR Ward’s heroes (especially the Black Dagger Brotherhood *drool*) are also some of my all time favorites. I could get into movies but then I’d be here all day!
He is also an amazing dancer and singer, believe it or not. Has done quite a bit on Broadway. And we all know that is a way to my heart
