I have been day dreaming a lot about a vacation, in some exotic destination. Some place that might remind me a little about the beaches I spent some time on as a child. Or just a place that would allow me to have some much needed R&R. You know… the kind of place where your biggest decision was whether to have the cabana boy bring you a drink with or without the umbrella. Here are some places that are on my getaway list.

5. Boracay Island

I learned to dive there, swam with sharks, turtles and had a fish fall in love with my surf shoes…
It’s an amazing place. Truly stunning.
Wow, those are some beautiful beaches. You’ve got me wanting to break out the coconut scented candles and Hawaiian music for a mini mental vacay! (So I can pretend it’s not snowing like crazy outside.

Red hair + pale skin + Irish/Polish heritage=no beach. Though I’m dragged to the shore every year by the family, it’s not my type of destination. Give me Athens or Paris or London, thankyouverymuch.
